Cuore has come to life: marketing with heart for small business.

It would be remiss to launch Cuore Marketing and not post the first article about turning my pipedream into reality.

After more than 25 years working in corporations to build and deliver their marketing, it's now the right time to step outside and do it for others.

For more than 25 years, I’ve led brand and marketing initiatives for regional, national and APAC businesses, moving between strategic thinking and the hands-on work needed to bring it to life.

Relaunching brands and leading major sponsorships have definitely been highlights. But the work I’m proudest of is connecting marketing to business goals.
Developing campaigns and activations that move the pipeline forward, rather than just looking good is where marketing has measurable impact. Over those two and a half decades, I’ve learned that care beats budget. When resources are limited, 'outside-the-box' decisions and execution help make every marketing dollar work harder.

Care, attention to detail and collaboration are what separate marketing that works from marketing that doesn't. Good marketing can do a lot on its own. But it can do so much more when it's aligned with what a business is genuinely trying to achieve, not run as a project that sits off to the side.

In practice, that means understanding a business before anything is planned. It means the person who builds the strategy (me) is the same person doing the work three months later (also me). It means asking what a business actually wants, then recommending marketing that addresses that, not marketing for marketing sake.

That's why I started Cuore. I want to take my 25+ years of experience and put it to work with care, for small and medium businesses that are ready to grow but don't have a marketing department of their own. Reach out if this sounds like the type of marketing that makes sense for you. I'd love to help your business.
